Challenges on tuberculosis care in health care facilities during COVID-19 pandemic: Indonesian perspective

Indonesia is among the top three countries globally with highest tuberculosis burden. During past decades, Indonesian health authorities have struggled to improve care quality in facilities by optimizing regulation and strengthening private sector contributions. The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic has hardly affected system, including National Tuberculosis Control Program. While end of COVID-19 uncertain, measure control must not be weakened. Early identification measurement problem size are essential decide most appropriate approach maintain sustainability Program, particularly during pandemic. This article points out possible threats TB pandemic, some approaches overcome those problems.
